Saci is a highly entertaining author (although it doesn't look like it in this photo) She has been a guest at many UK festivals such as Hay, Latitude, Edinburgh, Bestival and Shambala. She has also visited many British and European schools. Her style is engaging - she uses props, multimedia and storytelling to engage her audience and is comfortable in large and small group settings alike.

Competition winners hold up copies of Saci's books after a great day out, which included a whole assembly presentation, a writing workshop and an informal lunch time Q and A.

'Author Saci Lloyd spent the day talking with students, inspiring them to read and write for themselves. She worked with students from years 7 -9 about her books, 'The Carbon Diaries' and her new work, 'It's the End of the World as we Know it'. Staff joined in the fun by dressing up as book characters.'
